Do I need a time sheet?

Yes, print it out from the mobile app (under Files/Shared files).

How to fill up the time sheet?

Please refer to sample template in the mobile app (under Files/Shared files).

I forget to get my time sheet signed.

You need to go back to the store and get it signed before the submission date.

When do I use a new piece of time sheet?
  • New Month
  • Different Role/Brand
How do I submit the time sheet?

You are to scan and email in all relevant documents to doc@powwow.sg by 3th of every month.

When is the Submission Date / Deadline?

3th of every month

How to indicate for break hours on time sheet?

Write the number of hour(s) on the “Break” column. For every shift that is more than 6 hours, you will be entitled to 1 hour of break and it will be auto deducted. Unless otherwise instructed, all breaks will be unpaid.

Payment Related

When is the Payment Date?

The payment date will be on the 10th of every month if all documents and loan assets are cleared (subject to changes due to any public holiday or other business related changes).

When is the Payment Date for Commission/Incentive?

Commission and Incentive payment will vary from Brand/Project to Brand/Project. You can check with our PowWow Supervisor for detailed information.

Is there any Special Rate on Public Holiday?

Special rates vary from brand/project to brand/project, all rates are indicated in the “shift notes”.

What if I work beyond the normal working hours, am I entitled to OT pay?

No, unless specific instructions were given by the brand or PowWow’s Supervisor.

If I took less than 1 hour or not taken any break, am I entitled to more pay?

No, unless specific instructions were given by the brand or PowWow’s Supervisor. All shifts that are 6 hours or more are entitled to 1 hour of unpaid break, it will be auto deducted.

Before Shifts Starts

Where do I attend my online training?

Refer to YouTube video shared during account activation.

Why my account is being deactivated?

There are several reasons :

  1. Inactive
  2. End of Service
How do I upload my Display picture on to my account?

Refer to YouTube videos share during account activation. Photo must be decent and clear.

I have not received any activation email.

Step 1: Check Spam/Junk Mail
Step 2: Resend your email to the project supervisor for verification.

What are the Shift approval criteria?

The criteria can be found in your PowWow Handbook (which can be download in your mobile app).

I booked a shift, when will it be approved and confirmed?

All shift will get a final confirmation 3 ~ 5 days before the actual shift day. If the shift is not being approved or confirmed, do contact your respective supervisor for more details.

How do I apply leave?

Refer to YouTube videos share during account activation.

How does standby shift works?

Refer to message wall in our mobile app.

What happens if I am sick and unable to work?

Inform your PowWow’s Supervisor asap, provide MC and email into doc@powwow.sg

What happens if I do not turn up for work without valid reason?

Refer to your latest copy of PowWow Handbook.

What happens if I cancel or drop my shift?

Refer to your latest copy of PowWow Handbook.

I can only start work 1 month later, will my account be disabled?

Yes. You are required to provide us with your most accurate availability so we can enable your account accordingly.

During Shift

How to clock in / out?

Refer to YouTube video shared during account activation.

Do I need to take a selfie during clock in / out?

Yes, it is part of the clock in/out process.

For standby, do I need to clock in and take a selfie?

Yes, you are required to clock in and take your selfie anywhere.

What happens if I forget to break out/in for my break?

We will have difficulty to prove your break hour(s) to the brands and might subject to dispute.

Why am I unable to clock in / out?

Step 1: Ensure that you downloaded the correct app / Updated App [Humanity for Employees instead of Employer]

Step 2: Launch your google map and allow your mobile device to geolocate your current position.

Step 3: Restart the mobile app and try to clock in again.

Step 4: If it still doesn’t work, contact your PowWow Supervisor.

When is the break time?

Please discuss and inform the store manager before you go for your break. Avoid going for a break during peak hours.

What happens if I forget to clock out?

Inform the project supervisor and remember to do the next time. Failure to clock out might result in dispute on your end hour with the brand.
